Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Octopi Digital LLC (“we”) for using AIBlogWrite. AIBlogWriter, AIBlogWrite and FreeBlogWriter are the same service with one account system, and these terms cover all of them. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

We research and write blog posts with artificial intelligence and deliver them to your website, or keep them in your account for you to copy. You choose the topics, or a schedule chooses them from a list you give it.

Our plugin and apps

Our WordPress plugin is free software, licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. Our Shopify and Wix apps and our Next.js package connect AIBlogWrite to those platforms. None of them writes posts on its own: each needs a AIBlogWrite account. Once connected, they send our service what is needed to write and deliver your posts, as our privacy policy describes, and receive the finished posts. You can disconnect or remove them at any time; posts already on your website stay there.

Your account

• Give us a real name and an email address you can read.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Connect only websites you own or are allowed to manage.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan includes 4 posts in total, for as long as you have an account.
• Paid plans are charged monthly in advance, at the price shown when you choose the plan.
• Moving to a bigger plan takes effect at once; you pay the difference for the rest of the month. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the month you paid for.
• You can cancel any time. You keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for, and we do not refund part-months. Our refund policy gives the details.
• Each plan has limits on posts a month, schedules and websites, shown on the plans page. A month’s posts can be written on any day. On the Own API key plan, you pay your AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) directly for the writing, through your own key.

Your posts

The posts we write for you are yours to use, change and publish. AI can make mistakes, so read each post before it goes live: you are responsible for what you publish on your website. By default posts arrive as drafts for exactly this reason.

Images you upload must be yours to use. Stock photos in a post come from Pexels, Unsplash or Pixabay under their own licences, with the credit they ask for.

Fair use

Do not use the service to:

• write anything illegal, hateful, deceptive or harmful, or that infringes someone’s rights;
• publish spam, or content meant to manipulate search engines or mislead readers;
• get around your plan’s limits, for example with many free accounts; or
• attack, overload or copy the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why first and give you the chance to put it right.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, or that every post will rank in search engines. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and contact

When we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to a paid plan, it applies from your next billing month. For any question about these terms, write to us at support@aiblogwrite.com.
